Continuous Systems Improvement (CSI) is a quality management system that focuses on high performance and customers. It is a program based on an international standard of quality (ISO 9001), which serves as our primary tool for achieving high performance.
Washoe County School District (WCSD) has chosen the ISO 9000 Standard to demonstrate our commitment to our students. Schools are a school district’s customers. The purpose of implementing CSI in our district is to improve every service that is offered to the schools. WCSD believes that by making what the district staff does more effective, more efficient, and more responsive to staff, we will be able to be of greater service.
Improving student performance is everyone’s job, not just the staff in the schools. The administration takes this challenge very seriously. WCSD wants to be held accountable to the highest possible levels of performance.
